We’re Driving the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Next Week. Have Any Questions About It?
CarBlog is going out to the picturesque Longhorn River Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas early next week for the Texas Auto Writers Association’s 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo. That’s where crossover, SUV, and – of course – pickup manufacturers will compete for numerous titles, including the two most coveted: “SUV of Texas” and “Truck of Texas.”
Toyota will be there with a variety of entries, including the 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro. We’re going to have to get through dozens of vehicles as efficiently as possible to cast our votes with the most information behind them, but we’ll make a little time to find out how civilized this new Taco Supreme is on pavement and how capable it is on dirt…and rocks…and steep grades. We’ll have to wait to see how comfortable and composed it is on-road, but we’re guessing the Tacoma TRD Pro’s Kevlar-reinforced all-terrain tires, TRD-tuned shocks, and Multi-terrain Select system will stand up to whatever Mother Nature throws at it.
If you have any questions about what it’s like to drive the 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, feel free to ask them at the bottom of this post via Facebook or on Twitter.
